Behind the Pages: Our First Book Signing at Barnes & Noble 5th Avenue!

What a whirlwind! If you had told us a year ago that we’d be standing in the iconic Barnes & Noble on 5th Avenue in New York City, signing copies of our book, we probably would have told you to check your data for glitches.

But on May 28, 2026, that dream became a reality. We officially celebrated our very first book signing for The Digital Detective, and we are still buzzing from the energy in the room!

A Powerhouse Collaboration

The event brought together an incredible crowd to meet the brilliant minds behind the book:

• Tom Arnold: A powerhouse cybersecurity expert who took his real-world tech wizardry and channeled it into the thrilling, analytical world of The Digital Detective.

• Gary Trousdale: Our legendary celebrity illustrator, whose iconic artistic vision brought the characters and the high-tech world to life on the page.

Seeing Tom talk shop about cyber-clues while Gary sketched for fans was a masterclass in what happens when tech meets pure creativity.

Highlights from the Night

• The Venue: Barnes & Noble 5th Avenue was the perfect backdrop. The energy of NYC, combined with rows of eager readers, made the night feel incredibly special.

• Meeting the Community: From tech enthusiasts and mystery lovers to fans of Gary’s classic animation work, the diversity of the crowd was amazing.

• The "Inked" Moments: Watching The Digital Detective go from a stack on a table to a signed treasure in a reader's hands never got old. Tom and Gary signed hundreds of copies, shared stories, and took photos with everyone who stopped by.
